Job summary

Mehaffy Weber, PC in Dallas is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant / Paralegal to support our insurance defense team. The ideal candidate will manage case files, assist with pleadings, and perform legal research.

You will coordinate with clients, adjusters, and court personnel; ensure deadlines are met; prepare exhibits for trial and maintain calendars. Paralegal certification or AS degree preferred; minimum 2 years experience required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in an insurance defense firm.
• Strong knowledge of insurance defense litigation procedures and terminology.
