Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in an insurance defense firm.
Strong knowledge of insurance defense litigation procedures and terminology.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in managing insurance defense cases from inception through resolution.
Prepare, review, and organize legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information.
Coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, court personnel, and other parties involved in litigation.
Maintain case files and ensure all deadlines and court filings are met.
Draft and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness materials.
Manage calendars and schedule meetings, depositions, and hearings.
