Job summary

Siskind Susser P.C. seeks a full-time Legal Assistant Floater in our Memphis, TN office.

The role supports paralegals and attorneys on all teams in preparing and filing petitions and applications, with duties ranging from data entry to document management. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), prior legal office experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and Spanish fluency is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Prior administrative or legal office experience.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and under deadlines handling multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Spanish fluency strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Collect information from clients to prepare applications.
• Prepare and assemble case files.
• Print and photocopy documents; data entry; prepare legal forms.
• Prepare filings for federal and state agencies.
• Enter case information into databases and case management systems.
• Track filing status and inform clients of follow-ups.
• Scan, save mail and documents; manage digital files.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Provide regular front desk coverage.
