Job summary

WhiteCap Search is assisting a leading New York City real estate property tax law firm in recruiting a detail-oriented Operations Specialist. This temporary role, located in New York City, focuses on building efficient workflows for Pied-a-Terre Tax matters and the law department, including drafting engagement letters and handling submissions.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, process-driven, and proficient with Excel to develop analyses that support case management and valuation

Responsibilities

• Design workflows for Pied-a-Terre Tax and for the Law Department, including engagement letters and paperwork reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Pied-a-Terre Tax: Collaborate with the COO to design workflows for managing new case loads related to the Pied-a-Terre Tax, including:
  • Communicating with potential clients
  • Sending engagement letters
  • Reviewing paperwork required for submission to the City
  • Developing analyses to protest valuation
  • Partnering with the software development team to enhance workflow efficiency
• Law Department: Work with the COO and senior paralegal to design workflows for managing the law department process, including:
  • Drafting audit report forms
  • Preparing initial analyses and demands
  • Project managing attorneys and other team members to ensure case progression
