We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our litigation team and support our paralegals and attorneys. This is an important role in keeping active litigation matters organized, deadlines on track, and case teams prepared to move matters forward.
The Legal Assistant will provide hands-on litigation and case-management support across the life of a matter, including new matters, discovery, depositions, mediation, trial preparation, settlement, and case closing. The position works closely with paralegals and attorneys and requires strong follow-through, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
At Josephson Dunlap, you’ll be part of a litigation team focused on meaningful work that directly impacts workers and their families. Our Legal Assistants work closely with paralegals and attorneys and play an important role in keeping complex litigation organized and moving forward.
This position provides exposure to the full litigation lifecycle—including discovery, depositions, mediation, trial preparation, settlement, and case closing—while working as part of a collaborative legal team.
This is an on-site position based in our Houston, Texas office. Candidates should reside in the Greater Houston area. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with eight hours of work per day.
