Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active bar license, recent bar passage, or pending admission.
• Strong legal research and writing abilities.

• A strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
• Prepare for trials and arbitration hearings alongside experienced attorneys.
• Develop litigation strategy with Partners.
• Build courtroom advocacy skills.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research on complex employment law issues.
• Analyze authorities and develop persuasive arguments.
• Draft written discovery and assist in discovery responses.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations.

What You’ll Do

Litigation & Advocacy

• Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings
• Prepare for trials and arbitration hearings alongside experienced attorneys
• Develop litigation strategy with Partners
• Build courtroom advocacy skills

Legal Research & Writing

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and correspondence
• Conduct legal research on complex employment law issues
• Analyze legal authorities and develop persuasive arguments

Discovery

• Draft written discovery
• Prepare subpoenas and deficiency letters
• Review documents produced during litigation
• Assist in responding to discovery requests

Settlement

• Participate in settlement negotiations
• Attend mediations and settlement conferences
• Evaluate cases for settlement opportunities
• Work directly with clients throughout the litigation process

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active bar license, recent bar passage, or pending admission
• Strong legal research and writing abilities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• A strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to learn
• Proficiency with legal research platforms or a willingness to quickly learn new technology

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $90,000-$110,000, depending on experience
