A growing and highly respected law firm is seeking a Senior Legal Assistant to support attorneys in a fast‑paced litigation environment. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence
- Manage complex attorney calendars and scheduling
- Coordinate and execute e‑filing in state and federal courts
- Handle court filings, service of process, and related correspondence
- Organize and maintain electronic case files
- Support multiple attorneys across various cases and deadlines
- Assist with document management, including pleadings and briefs
- Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 remote)
- 35‑hour work week with flexible start/end times
- Business professional work environment
- Background check required
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant in a law firm environment
- Experience supporting defense litigation (insurance or medical malpractice preferred)
- Strong knowledge of litigation processes, including e‑filing and court procedures
- Familiarity with HIPAA‑related documentation is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Zoom, Dropbox, and legal software (e.g., PerfectLaw or similar)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a high‑volume workload
- Professional, confident demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
