Millenniumsoft, Inc. is seeking a Legal Analyst to support the IHCDA Legal Department in Indianapolis, IN on a contract basis.

The role involves handling multiple legal projects, drafting contracts and notices, and coordinating with outside counsel and court officials. Responsibilities include preparing responses to foreclosure actions, tracking Sheriff’s sales, maintaining SharePoint contract records, conducting legal research, and ensuring accurate document transmittal.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

  • Assist in preparing responses to foreclosure actions, bankruptcy actions, and other legal process responses
  • Track status of foreclosure cases and Sheriff’s sales involving IHCDA
  • Prepare legal documents such as contracts, mortgage/lien releases, reports, budgets, and internal communications
  • Sort, analyze, and distribute mail within the legal department
  • Assist Legal Counsel with word processing, filing, and document transmittal services
  • Transmit legal correspondence to clients, customers, outside counsel, and court officials via e-filing, mail, fax, or messenger
  • Manage special projects, including tracking progress, coordinating meetings, and maintaining organized case files
  • Review and update the SharePoint contracts database
  • Perform records and legal research, check legal forms for accuracy, and prepare/draft contracts and amendments
  • Perform other tasks as needed and assigned

Job Summary

Legal Support Resource needed to provide legal, communication, organizational, and decision-making support to the Legal Department, managing multiple projects with competing deadlines in a self-motivated capacity.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing responses to foreclosure actions, bankruptcy actions, and other legal process responses
  • Track status of foreclosure cases and Sheriff’s sales involving IHCDA
  • Prepare legal documents such as contracts, mortgage/lien releases, reports, budgets, and internal communications

Experience
  • 2 years in a law firm, government legal department, corporate legal department, or equivalent setting with exposure to legal terms/procedures
  • 2 years in the same position/employer
