Job summary

SCIGON seeks an AI Innovation Advisor to bridge legal expertise with practical AI solutions. You will partner with attorneys to identify opportunities, design AI-enabled workflows, test rigorously, and deliver responsible, scalable workflows.

You will lead end-to-end development, document processes, and guide governance while collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and project managers. This role blends experimentation with delivery for high-quality legal services.

Qualifications

• J.D. strongly preferred; 5+ years leading innovation in a large law firm or legal technology organization.
• Experience in client-service or billable environments with confidentiality requirements.
• Strong process-design mindset with experience using generative AI and large language models.
• Hands-on experience using legal AI platforms, including building and refining prompts and workflows.
• Ability to establish credibility with attorneys and senior stakeholders in fast-moving environments.
• Strong writing, documentation, project management, and organizational skills.
• Collaborative, adaptable, client-focused problem-solving orientation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a credible, practice-embedded advisor on AI strategy and workflow integration.
• Partner with litigation and transactional teams to analyze workflows and identify AI-enabled enhancements.
• Translate attorney tasks into clear, scoped solution requirements, leveraging existing tools where possible.
• Support client engagements involving AI-assisted legal services, ensuring delivery quality aligns with professional standards.
• Guide attorneys on responsible AI use, governance, and risk considerations.
• Own end-to-end development of AI-enabled legal workflows, from task decomposition to prompt design and refinement.
• Design and execute structured testing protocols, including benchmarking outputs and validating accuracy.
• Maintain detailed workflow documentation for reproducibility and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineers as workflows mature, translating legal intent into technical execution.
