Job summary

GC AI is seeking a Solutions Professional to blend legal expertise with cutting-edge AI for in-house teams. You will draft powerful AI prompts, partner with customers to solve workflow challenges, and teach courses that empower legal professionals to embrace AI in their practice.

You’ll drive adoption, shape product direction, and build the skills and confidence of users in a fast-moving startup with a clear product-market fit and a collaborative, high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of in-house work experience. JDs with legal operations experience strongly preferred, though non-JD candidates with a deep understanding of in-house legal operations processes will be considered.
• Strong background in legal metrics and process optimization — experience measuring legal team performance (KPIs/SLAs), workflow efficiency, and operational improvements.
• A genuine passion for AI — you already use it and love experimenting with it
• Proven ability to learn quickly, think critically, and apply knowledge creatively
• Hands-on experience with legal tech tools (e.g., CLM, automation, analytics platforms, or other legal software).
• Excellent client-facing skills: empathetic, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize legal processes using data-driven insights and metrics.
• Draft high-impact AI prompts that solve real-world legal problems and demonstrate value across industries and practice areas.
• Curate a library of sample prompts and outputs to showcase GC AI’s versatility to prospects and customers.
• Partner with in-house legal teams to understand workflows and design practical AI-powered solutions.
• Act as the Voice of the Customer by sharing insights with Product and ensuring features meet real-world needs.
• Lead prompting workshops and training sessions to boost customer adoption and confidence in using AI.
• Position GC AI as the trusted legal AI partner with credibility, expertise, and empathy in every interaction.
