Responsibilities

  • Design and build AI solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Frontier AI, and legal AI tools.
  • Evaluate, pilot and implement AI tools for legal research, contract review, and document analysis.
  • Manage and maintain deployed AI tools and monitor performance.
  • Coordinate remediation with stakeholders and external vendors as needed.
  • Identify high-value AI use cases with attorneys and legal staff; translate requirements into tech initiatives.
  • Assist in creating AI training/onboarding programs for legal staff.
  • Conduct vendor assessments and manage relationships with AI providers.
  • Maintain documentation, playbooks, and best-practice guides for AI tool usage.

Dinsmore is seeking a Legal AI Solutions Analyst at our Cincinnati, OH location. This is a hybrid-Cincinnati, OH position. The Legal AI Solutions Analyst is responsible for identifying, implementing, and optimizing AI-powered tools and solutions. This role bridges the gap between emerging artificial intelligence capabilities and the practical needs of legal teams, ensuring that AI adoption is responsible, effective, and aligned with firm strategy. The ideal candidate combines a foundational understanding of legal processes with hands‑on experience in legal technology, and brings a disciplined, analytical approach to evaluating and deploying AI solutions in a professional legal environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and build AI solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, Frontier AI platforms and legal specific AI Solutions.
  • Evaluate, pilot, and implement AI-powered tools for legal research, contract review, and document analysis, ensuring each solution meets firm standards for accuracy, security, and utility.
  • Manage and maintain deployed AI tools.
  • Monitoring for ongoing performance, accuracy, and reliability, flagging issues and coordinating remediation with internal stakeholders and external vendors

  • Partner with attorneys, paralegals, and legal operations staff to identify high-value AI use cases, gathering requirements and translating them into actionable technology initiatives
  • Assist with the creation and delivery of AI training and onboarding programs that enable legal staff to use AI tools confidently, competently, and in accordance with established guidelines
  • Conduct thorough vendor assessments and manage ongoing relationships with AI solution providers
  • Author and maintain documentation, operational playbooks, and best practice guides that support consistent, responsible AI tool usage across the firm
  • Track and synthesize developments in the legal AI landscape including generative AI, large language models to inform firm strategy and tool roadmap decisions
Required Skills
  • Deep familiarity with AI and machine learning tools applied to legal workflows, including platforms such as Harvey, Legora, Claude, Copilot, and Lexis Protege, as well as general-purpose large language model interfaces Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Copilot Studio and Power Automate Deep understanding of Prompt creation and AI platform architecture.
  • Experience with software development principles with a particular focus on no-code/low-code and workflow creation platforms Demonstrated ability to assess AI-generated outputs for accuracy, potential bias, and overall reliability Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to systematically evaluate competing tools, weigh trade-offs, and make clear, evidence-based recommendations Proficiency with legal research tools and platforms, including familiarity with how AI capabilities are being integrated into established legal research workflows Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex AI concepts clearly to attorneys and legal professionals without a technical background Working knowledge of data privacy regulations, legal ethics rules, and responsible AI principles as they apply to the use of AI tools in a legal or professional services context
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in a relevant field, or a recognized certification in AI, data analytics, or legal technology is strongly preferred
  • Three to five years of professional experience in legal operations, legal technology, law firm administration, or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated experience implementing, managing, or overseeing AI tools in a professional setting, with the ability to speak concretely to outcomes and lessons learned
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with widely used legal technology platforms, including practice management, e-discovery, or document management systems
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing clear documentation, persuasive presentations, and effective training materials for diverse audiences
  • Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound professional judgment, and manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
