Job summary

Fenwick & West seeks an AI Enablement Intern to support attorneys and business professionals with the firm’s AI stack. You’ll coach users, draft quick guides, and test platforms like Claude, Harvey, and Legora. You’ll help integrate governance guardrails into workflows.

Strong written and verbal communication, a current law student status, and interest in applied AI in legal tech are essential. This is an on-site Palo Alto role offering hands-on experience with enterprise AI tools.

Qualifications

• Interest in applied AI tools in legal practice.
• Comfortable using generative AI platforms at end-user level.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to document findings and testing results.
• Experience supporting end users through software adoption.
• Coursework or hands-on exposure to prompt engineering or generative AI tools.
• Interest in legal technology or AI enablement as a career path.
• Currently enrolled in a college degree program.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to attorneys and business professionals on workflows within the firm’s AI stack.
• Field and resolve end-user questions on prompting technique and tool usage.
• Build and maintain lightweight reference materials to support self-service adoption.
• Run structured comparative testing across AI platforms and document findings.
• Surface themes and triage priorities to the Director, AI Innovation & Operations.
• Implement governance guardrails into finished AI skills and workflows.
