Position Duties
This role involves performing legal secretarial duties requiring sound judgment and technical skills, including transcribing, preparing, and e-filing pleadings in courts; managing correspondence, contracts, ordinances, resolutions, and legal documents; maintaining attorney calendars; handling communications; filing; and organizing legal information. Accuracy, quality, and attention to detail are essential. Knowledge of legal procedures and court rules (federal and state) is desirable. The position covers civil litigation, workers' compensation, and municipal law. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and related software is required.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
Legal Administrative Assistant I: High school diploma or GED and 2 years of legal administrative experience preparing legal documents.
Legal Administrative Assistant II: High school diploma or GED and 3 years of legal administrative experience preparing legal documents.
Other Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate competencies such as job expertise, effective communication, computer skills (MS Office suite), teamwork, customer service, initiative, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and reliability.
