Job summary

The Oregon State Police in Salem, Oregon is seeking two full-time LEDS Help Desk – Public Service Representative 4 roles. This is an in-office position with no remote work. You will troubleshoot LEDS outages, manage tickets, and provide after-hours support for LEDS and the IT/Service Desk. Public service experience and LEDS familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of public contact and/or customer service experience.
• At least two years of this experience with the public in person or by phone.
• Experience explaining rules, programs, or procedures and assisting compliance.
• LEDS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize while monitoring multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Provide LEDS helpdesk support to local, state, and federal users.
• Troubleshoot LEDS outages and manage on-call tickets during critical incidents.
• Assist with after-hours, weekends, holidays, and overflow LEDS responses.
• Serve as liaison between public entities and private partners as needed.
