Job summary

Cree LED, a Penguin Solutions brand, is seeking a Product Manager to own multiple product families within our LED portfolio, guiding strategy from concept through obsolescence. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, R&D, operations and sales to deliver compelling products.

This hybrid role in Durham, NC involves defining MRDs/PRDs, pricing, market analysis, and close collaboration with marketing to launch and support products at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with Sales/Marketing coursework.
• 5+ years of product management or product marketing experience.
• Strong drive, ownership, and a resilient can-do attitude to drive projects through completion.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of product life-cycle from concept to obsolescence.
• Define, execute and maintain the product strategy, positioning and roadmap.
• Identify market needs and develop MRDs and PRDs for new product development with prioritized features and forecasts.
• Interface with engineering, R&D, operations and sales to develop new products or enhance existing products.
• Develop and execute a pricing strategy to meet revenue and margin targets.
• Work with product marketing and corporate marketing to launch products.
• Lead customer engagement, presentations and seminars.
• Be an expert on competitor’s capabilities and product positioning in the market.
