Job summary
The UC Davis Writing Center invites applications for lecturers to teach general education writing courses at the entry level, first year and/or upper division, on campus. A PhD in Rhetoric and Composition/Writing Studies or closely related field is preferred; MA/MS will also be considered.
We welcome candidates with experience teaching hybrid courses and contributing to curriculum and faculty development projects.
Qualifications
- PhD (completed or near completed) in Rhetoric and Composition/Writing Studies or closely related field.
- Experience teaching one or more of developmental writing, basic writing, developmental reading.
Responsibilities
- Teach general education writing courses at the entry, first-year and upper-division levels.
- Contribute to curriculum and faculty development projects and adapt to diverse student populations.
