• Employ a variety of formative and summative assessments to ensure that classroom instruction leads to student learning and achievement of learning outcomes.
• Help students reach their academic, personal, and career goals while fostering a safe environment that respects diversity and encourages confidence in every student’s ability to learn.
• Adhere to City Colleges of Chicago code of ethics, Board rules, and policies.

Position Overview

We are seeking skilled and enthusiasticPart-Time Continuing Education Instructors to teach a variety ofcourses across disciplines including, but not limited to,healthcare, technology, business, arts, youth programs, trades, andpersonal development. The ideal candidate will possess substantialprofessional experience in their subject area, and demonstrate apassion for facilitating engaging and practical learningexperiences.

Compensation

The compensation for this part-time instructor position will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and the course subject matter.
