Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare course materials and pedagogy aligned with department learning goals. This includes textbooks, lecture slides, multimedia, and instructional resources.
• Conduct live lecture classes on campus as outlined in the course schedule, in addition to holding a minimum of two hours per week of office hours.
• Deliver engaging lectures, presentations, problem sessions, and discussions that reinforce key chemical and biochemical concepts.
• Guide students in the development of critical thinking, scientific reasoning, data analysis, and scientific communication.
• Provide individualized support and mentorship to students from diverse academic backgrounds.
• Maintain regular office hours and respond promptly to student questions.
• Evaluate student performance through exams, quizzes, assignments, and projects using established grading criteria.
• Use the Canvas learning management system to organize course information.
