• One or more years' work experience as a Registered Nurse in acute care, medical surgical, pediatrics, or mental health nursing.

Minimum qualifications for the position include having earned a master's degree in nursing from an accredited institution, or a bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's degree in a closely related field. Holds an unrestricted Florida license as a Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida. One or more years' work experience as a Registered Nurse in one of the following specialties: acute care, medical surgical, pediatrics, or mental health nursing.

Preferred Qualifications For This Position Include

• Earned a doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, DNP) in nursing, education, or a health-related field from an accredited institution.
• One or more years' work experience teaching pre-licensure students in the classroom and clinical setting.
• Familiarity with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing Essentials.
