Qualifications

• Master's Degree in English or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Minimum of 18 graduate hours in English.
• At least 1 year of college or university teaching experience.
• Experience teaching composition, especially technical or professional writing.

Responsibilities

• Teach First-Year Composition courses with a base 5/5 load.
• Possibly teach upper-division courses in the Writing, Media, and Culture track.
• Work with instructional technologies, learning management systems, and digital portfolios.
• Summer teaching may be available but not guaranteed.
