Job summary

NC State University seeks a Part-time Non-Tenure-Track Faculty Lecturer in Finance to teach 1-3 courses for the Finance concentration in the BSBA and MBA programs. The role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction and contributing to department and university service.

Successful candidates will have a master’s degree in Finance or related field (doctorate for graduate-level teaching) and a commitment to student success. This is a pooled, part-time appointment with renewal potential.

Responsibilities

The Department of Finance is accepting applications for the position of Non-Tenure Track Faculty Lecturer (part-time). Non-Tenure Track Faculty positions are one-semester or one-year in duration, with the possibility of renewal.

Successful candidates will teach 1-3 courses for the Finance concentration in the BSBA (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) and/or for the Finance concentration in the MBA (Master of Business Administration).

Specific hiring needs for the academic year have yet to be determined but could include financial modeling, investments, international finance, personal finance, and corporate finance.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

Requires a master’s degree or an equivalent degree in Finance or with a concentration in Finance.
Doctoral degree or equivalent if teaching at the graduate level
