Administered by the Faculty rather than one particular department, this innovative and interdisciplinary taught postgraduate programme draws on the extensive teaching and research expertise in multiple academic disciplines across the Faculty. Our goal is to bridge humanities inquiry and the fast-evolving technological domain and prepare our students for different career paths in many sectors. For further information on the programme, please visit https://www.arts.cuhk.edu.hk/web/master-of-arts-in-ai-humanities/introduction.
Candidates for the lecturer position should possess practical computational skills and expertise, a deep understanding of humanities research and inquiry, and the ability to engage students with or without a technical background. A doctoral degree in a relevant discipline, such as computational humanities, computer-supported creative media, or computer science, is expected. A demonstrated record of teaching experience and excellence will be an advantage. Besides working closely with a team to develop the programme curriculum and supervise students’ projects, the appointee will also have an opportunity to contribute to the development of AI research and application in the Faculty.
Terms of appointment will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience. The appointment will initially be made on contract basis for two years, commencing in August 2027, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.
