Job Description - Leave & Workers Compensation Specialist (Remote) (43601)

Job Overview

The Leave & Workers Compensation Specialist is responsible for administering and coordinating all leave of absence and workers' compensation programs for Erlanger employees. Ensures regulatory compliance by maintaining accurate documentation and record keeping. Identifies opportunities for program improvements.

Qualifications
  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Nursing, or related field.
  2. Experience: 3-5 years in HR, benefits administration, or leave coordination. Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation laws, OSHA, TOSHA, and relevant regulations. Experience with workplace safety, occupational medicine, litigation management, OSHA logs, and insurance claims is preferred.
  3. Licenses/Certifications: Nursing licensure in Tennessee (for nursing candidates). Case Management Certification preferred.
