Job summary

Stewart Title in Houston seeks a Leave Administrator to coordinate all leave programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and support workforce continuity. You’ll manage cases from initiation to return-to-work and maintain accurate records in HRIS.

Candidate should have 2–4 years in leave or HR, a bachelor’s degree, strong communication and confidentiality, and knowledge of leave regulations; experience with HRIS/payroll is preferred, and you’ll collaborate with managers across teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of leave administration or HR experience.
• Working knowledge of leave regulations and HR processes.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage all leave of absence programs, including family and medical leave, parental leave, disability leave, military leave, personal leave, and other applicable programs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave policies, procedures, eligibility requirements, and benefits.
• Review and evaluate leave requests and documentation to determine eligibility and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Coordinate the leave lifecycle from initiation through return to work, ensuring timely communication and documentation.
• Partner with managers and HR colleagues to develop alternative work arrangements during absences.
