Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc seeks an LOA Analyst – Regulatory & Appeals SME to apply advanced expertise in federal and state leave. You will administer fully cycle LOA requests for colleagues across the U.S., review complex claims, interpret regulations, and provide well-reasoned recommendations to ensure compliant leave administration.

Based in Houston, this hybrid role requires on-site presence 3–4 days per week at the Energy Corridor location, collaborating with HR, Payroll, Legal, and Benefits to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in LOA administration, HR compliance, disability/absence management, or related field.
• Hands-on expertise administering FMLA and ADA/ADAAA in actual employee cases.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state leave requirements and practical application.
• Experience reviewing complex leave cases, escalations, and return-to-work situations.
• Ability to analyze complex facts, translate regulations into guidance, and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review and support all corporate leave requests for eligibility and accurate processing.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Legal on LOA escalations and settlements.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, and other applicable laws and policies.
• Provide reporting and insights to LOA leadership.
