Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an LOA Advisor to join the Human Resources team. You will manage end-to-end LOA processes, ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA and workers' compensation, and guide employees through the interactive process.

You will also coordinate benefits communications and wellness initiatives for the workforce. The role requires a minimum of 3 years HR experience with LOA administration, a Bachelor's in HR, and strong communication and confidentiality skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years HR experience with LOA administration.
• Solid understanding of FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation and LOA policies.
• Experience communicating benefits information and running education campaigns.
• Experience supporting a manufacturing workforce.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and use good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for LOA inquiries and intake; assess needs and respond.
• Determine LOA eligibility and appropriate leave type per regulations.
• Consult on leave inquiries; educate employees on responsibilities and requirements.
• Coordinate accommodation requests with employees and managers; communicate pay/benefit impacts.
• Draft LOA correspondence and ensure timely decisions and follow-up.
• Track leave data, collaborate with Payroll to ensure accurate pay, maintain LOA records.
• Generate reports on leaves and returns; coordinate with HRBP on escalations.
• Support benefits administration and wellness program communications.
