Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Leave of Absence Analyst to manage employee leave and return-to-work processes, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies. You will coordinate with HR, business leaders, colleagues, and third-party leave and workers' comp administrators.

You will evaluate and process leave requests (FMLA, ADA, short-term disability), advise colleagues on policies, audit return-to-work programs, review medical documentation, and maintain confidential records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, business administration, or related field.
• Experience in case management, HR, or leave administration preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA/ADA and leave policies.
• Excellent communication and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage Leave Requests: Evaluate and process leave requests incl. FMLA, ADA, short-term disability.
• Consultation: Provide guidance to colleagues regarding leave policies and rights.
• Return to Work: Review and audit Return to Work processes with external vendor and internal units.
• Documentation Review: Review medical documentation for compliance with legal standards.
• Communication: Serve as primary point of contact for colleagues on leave.
• Collaboration: Work with HR, payroll, and management to ensure proper leave administration.
• Compliance Monitoring: Stay updated on federal, state, and local leave laws and implement changes.
• Record Keeping: Maintain confidential records of leave requests, approvals, denials.
• Reporting: Generate reports on leave trends, usage, and compliance metrics.
