Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Leave Coordinator to provide end-to-end leave support for employees, guiding them through pre-education, initiation, and return-to-work phases.

Based in our in-office hubs (Omaha, Lenexa, or Houston), you will partner with HRBPs and managers, manage ADA and leave processes, and leverage SAP to process leave actions while maintaining confidentiality and timely updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of HR/Shared Services experience with disability leave knowledge.
• PHR and CLMS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a leave concierge guiding employees through pre-education, initiation, handling and return-to-work phases.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to meet timelines and answer questions.
• Maintain knowledge of current leave laws and company leave policies.
• Utilize leave software to complete tasks from inquiry to return-to-work
• Coordinate ADA processes with stakeholders
• Enter leave actions in SAP and manage related pay entries
• Coordinate tasks with payroll and other internal groups
• Communicate with vendors to support disability claims
• Collaborate with peers to improve leave processes and experience
• Focus on continuous improvement and innovation in leave processes
• Manage escalations and issue resolution
• Stay aware of industry trends and best practices
