Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is recruiting for a Leave Team Case Specialist to support the ADA and FMLA process for associates in Reading, PA.

You will guide managers and HR through accommodation decisions, RTW determinations, and quarantine-related pay actions in compliance with applicable laws and labor contracts. Ideal candidates will bring 2+ years in HR with leave programs, strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellent service for internal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus equivalent relevant work experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, leave programs and ADA accommodations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ADA/ADAAA, FMLA, USERRA and related laws.
• Excellent customer service, negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong documentation, analytical and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Access; HRIS experience preferred.
• Independent problem-solving, high emotional intelligence and composure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ADA Leave and on-the-job accommodation process; assess essential job functions and determine accommodations.
• Analyze return-to-work documentation and advise on RTW accommodations.
• Manage pandemic quarantines, determine pay and return-to-work actions using a matrix.
• Resolve issues escalated from FMLASource and Unum on LOA requests.
• Serve as subject matter expert to associates, managers, HR and operations.
• Analyze vendor reports on leave status and communicate end-to-work plans.
• Lead ADA reassignment and vacant position searches with HR and Staffing.
• Document all cases and quarantines in appropriate systems timely.
• Assist with other projects as assigned by the Manager.
