Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing in Reading, PA seeks a Leave Team Case Specialist to support associates’ health and wellbeing while ensuring business continuity. Responsibilities include managing leaves, ADA accommodations, and quarantines per FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and CDC guidance, with collaboration across HR, managers, and labor teams.

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years in HR programs, leave processes, strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required, plus relevant work experience in HR programs/processes.
2+ years of HR experience, ideally with leaves, benefits, and shared services.
Strong knowledge of ADA/ADAAA, FMLA, USERRA and related laws.
Excellent customer service, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Word, Excel and Access; ability to handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

Lead ADA leave and on-the-job accommodation processes and determine final decisions.
Analyze return-to-work documentation and manage RTW accommodations.
Manage pandemic quarantines and determine pay and return-to-work actions.
Resolve issues escalated regarding FMLA/ADA and leave requests.
Serve as subject matter expert for LOA processes and status updates.
Analyze reports from vendors and communicate leave-end plans to managers.
Lead ADA reassignments and ensure accurate case documentation.
Document all cases and quarantines in systems promptly.
Other projects as assigned by the Manager.
