Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. in Seattle, WA seeks a Leave Specialist to ensure compliant leave and accommodation processing under FMLA, ADA, and state laws. You will work with HR, policy leads, and carriers to deliver timely service to firm employees.

The role requires meticulous tracking, reporting, and expert guidance on leaves, with a focus on confidentiality and collaboration across offices. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience are expected, preferably with Workday knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience administering leave and disability.
• Experience with HRIS systems, especially Workday for leaves and timekeeping.
• Strong organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• California leaves and accommodations experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Process, track, and approve all leave cases from notification through return to work.
• Provide required notices and documentation to maintain federal, state and local leave compliance.
• Oversee the Leaves and Accommodations group mailbox; assign tasks to team members and escalate as needed.
• Maintain records under the firm’s leave policies with timely monitoring of all pending leaves and accommodations.
