Job summary

Yugo USA in Knoxville, TN, is seeking a Leasing Agent to drive apartment rentals, tours, and lease processing in a fast-paced student housing setting. You will manage applications, move-ins, renewals, and lead generation while delivering exceptional resident service.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll coordinate leases, deposits, and occupancy tasks, participate in marketing efforts, and help maintain a welcoming, well-presented community that aligns with Yugo’s values and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, preferred. In lieu of degree, equivalent experience in residential properties, rental operations or related experience.
• Relevant experience working at a property, university/college setting is ideal.
• Property management software experience with RealPage or Entrata.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships.
• Excellent customer service and ability to handle difficult situations.
• Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, conduct tours, and communicate property features to support leasing goals.
• Respond to inquiries from prospective and current residents promptly and professionally.
• Process rental applications, secure deposits, and prepare lease agreements per policies.
• Coordinate move-in/move-out, ensuring a smooth onboarding for residents.
• Maintain leasing records, guest cards, reports, and lease files.
• Support renewal notices and follow up to encourage retention.
• Assist with marketing and outreach to generate leads and raise occupancy.
• Monitor market conditions and pricing to inform strategy.
• Participate in weekly leasing meetings and report on activity.
• Coordinate service requests with maintenance and ensure resident satisfaction.
