Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Leasing Specialist to join our on-site community team in Fort Wayne. The role focuses on presenting community information, handling applications, and guiding residents through the leasing process to ensure a positive resident experience.

Required are sales or customer service experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office; Yardi Voyager experience is a plus. The position offers growth potential and a competitive starting wage.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of sales or customer service experience.
• Experience in multi-family property management preferred.
• Prior leasing experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience using Yardi Voyager or related property management software preferred.
• Maintain a professional appearance per dress code policy.
• Flexible with work schedule; weekend hours may be required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Present community information to prospective renters to meet their needs.
• Assist the apartment community with accounting tasks.
• Provide accurate information on features of the community and area.
• Respond to inquiries by phone and email in a timely manner.
• Process applications and follow up to maintain communication.
• Prepare lease contracts and related documents.
• Coordinate move-ins/outs and document events for departments.
