Job summary

Birchstone Residential is seeking a Leasing Specialist to support leasing operations and drive the community's financial performance. You will coordinate apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and renewals while representing the Birchstone brand and values.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, prospect qualification, and collaboration with the Property Manager to maximize occupancy and resident satisfaction across the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• One (1) or more years work experience in leasing, sales, or customer service position required.
• One (1) or more years work experience in the multi-family property management industry preferred.
• Certified Leasing Professional (CLP) certification and Fair Housing certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, provide tours, and communicate community value.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and build relationships with residents.
• Qualify and screen applicants, process rental applications, and follow Fair Housing guidelines.
• Secure deposits and lease agreements, communicate expirations, and secure renewals.
• Assist with move-in/move-out procedures and ensure units are ready for new residents.
• Support community marketing and resident events; monitor market trends.
