Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking a Leasing Consultant to attract and screen prospective tenants, conduct property tours, and negotiate lease terms. You will market available units, respond to inquiries, and help residents move in while maintaining high occupancy and strong customer service.

Collaborating with the property manager, you will stay informed on market trends, manage leasing paperwork, and assist with reports. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Strong negotiating and sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and digital marketing basics.
• Experience with property management software (Onesite, Yardi, RealPage, Knock, RentCafe, ResMan).
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attract and screen potential tenants and present available properties.
• Negotiate lease terms and ensure a smooth leasing process.
• Market and promote properties, conduct tours, and respond to inquiries.
• Prepare lease paperwork and assist residents through move-in.
• Maintain high occupancy and build positive resident relationships.
• Collaborate with the property manager and team to meet leasing goals.
• Stay informed about local rental trends and regulations.
• Plan events, outreach, and promotions to maximize visibility.
• Explain lease policies and fair housing rules clearly.
• Support weekly/monthly reporting and resident needs resolution.
• Work flexible hours including weekends as needed.
