Job summary

Waterton seeks a Leasing Specialist at our Chicago, IL community to sell and renew residential leases, tour the property, follow up with prospects, and prepare lease packages. A strong drive to close sales and deliver exceptional customer service will help build a vibrant community.

Responsibilities include tours, applications, marketing input, and collaboration with teams to maintain readiness of models and common areas. Illinois Leasing Agent license must be obtained within 120 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate interest in the community by answering questions, conducting tours, following up with prospective residents, and closing sales.
• Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents and engage them through programs and events to increase satisfaction and reduce turnover.
• Ensure leasing office, models, vacant units and common areas meet readiness standards.
• Process all rental applications for approval and prepare lease packages with proper documentation and protection of resident information.
• Maintain knowledge of local market conditions and assist in developing marketing plans to increase visibility of the community.
• Illinois Leasing Agent license required within 120 days of hire or obtain license within 120 days to remain eligible.
