Leasing Specialist

Job Title: Leasing Specialist

Division: Multifamily

Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary

In the Leasing Specialist role, you will show and lease apartments or townhomes to prospective residents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Greet prospective residents and provide tours of the property.
  2. Maintain guest cards and complete follow-ups.
  3. Assist the Property Manager with the property's overall performance, including efficiency, turnover rate, occupancy, income, and budgetary performance.
  4. Assist in collecting rent and handling delinquent accounts.
  5. Participate in resident retention programs and promotions.
  6. Prepare and maintain complete resident files.
Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Must be customer service oriented.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube is preferred.
  • Prior sales experience is helpful.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Availability to work weekend hours.
