Job summary

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Leasing Specialist to join on of our client's team at a property in Milwaukee, WI (53210). The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of residential leasing and property management experience, including multi-family and tax credit familiarity.

This contract-to-hire role offers $18-$22 per hour, with a 90-day conversion window. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM, and the position requires active management of occupancy, tours, rent collection, and

• Knowledge of government subsidy programs.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit business to achieve occupancy and rental goals of the property.
• Advertise and respond to inquiries; conduct property tours for prospective residents.
• Lead property tours, showcasing amenities.
• Lead rent collection efforts, including delinquent accounts and potential lease termination if necessary.
• Assist in managing the property's budget to increase net operating income.
• Maintain resident ledgers and files.
• Inspect units during move-in/move-out and the community as needed.
• Coordinate community events.
• Full Time Monday-Friday.
• Other duties as assigned.

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Leasing Specialist to join on of our client's their team at (1) of their properties in Milwaukee, WI (53210). The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years' experience in residential leasing and Property Management - multi-family experience is required - (tax credit/section 42). This is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).

This role will be working with (1) community with 197 affordable housing/tax credit units.

Salary: $18-$22/hour. This is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).

Schedule: Monday - Friday standard 9AM - 6PM.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Actively solicit business to achieve occupancy and rental goals of the property.
• Assure that prospective residents are reached through advertising and further market the property by responding to phone inquiries, internal leads and property tours.
• Lead property tours for prospective residents, showcasing all the amenities the property has to offer.
• Lead rent collection efforts, specifically with delinquent residents. This may involve lease termination and legal action if necessary.
• Assist in managing the property's budget by making sound financial decisions to increase the net operating income of the community.
• Help maintain the accuracy of resident ledgers and files.
• Inspect unit during move-in and move-outs, walking units, and the community as needed.
• Coordinate community events.
• Full Time Monday-Friday
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 1 years' experience in affordable property management - leasing or assistant property manager role (tax credit/section 42).
• Knowledge of government subsidy programs.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and Excel.
• Be able to successfully pass a background check before employment - 7 year.
