Responsibilities

• Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed accurately.
• Collect rent payments and follow up on any late payments.
• Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly.
• Maintain organized files and records of tenant information, leases, and maintenance requests.
• Utilize company software to track leads, prospects, and tenant interactions.

Green Alpha Property Management is the property management business of a real estate management and commercial investment company headquartered in Raleigh, NC and with a strong presence throughout the Southeast United States. As Leasing Specialist, you will be a key piece in how we manage our 3 small complexes in Longview, TX daily. You will be on a critical team that is responsible for helping to ensure that our tenants have the best possible rental experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Leasing Specialist you will bring a positive, upbeat, and driven attitude to help build lasting relationships with tenants and team members. This role will:

• Greet and assist prospective tenants in a professional and friendly manner
• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential renters
• Provide accurate information about rental properties, including pricing, amenities, and lease terms
• Process rental applications and perform background checks on applicants
• Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed accurately
• Collect rent payments and follow up on any late or outstanding payments
• Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally
• Maintain organized files and records of tenant information, leases, and maintenance requests
• Utilize company software to track leads, prospects, and tenant interactions
• Assist with property maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service or property leasing preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively negotiate lease terms
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for interacting with tenants and prospects
• Proficient in data entry and record keeping maintaining accurate tenant information
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
