Gorman & Company is looking for a motivated individual to work as a full time Leasing Specialist to support our residential communities in Sheboygan, WI. As a Leasing Specialist, you will:

1. Provide excellent customer service to our current and prospective residents.
2. Determine prospective resident’s needs through phone calls, apartment tours, and internet marketing using selling techniques.
3. Complete follow up discussions with all current and prospective residents and maintain accurate records.
4. Walk prospective residents through the application paperwork and Section 42, LIHTC, and HUD certification paperwork.
5. Assist current residents with lease renewals and recertification paperwork.
6. Develop and place ads and special promotions for marketing the apartment community to prospective residents.
7. Enter in any application information, service requests, or payment information into the RealPage system.

Leasing Specialist Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Leasing, customer service, or sales experience strongly preferred.
3. Experience with affordable housing programs strongly preferred.
4. Confident, positive, and friendly with the ability to connect with a wide range of people.
5. Computer skills and experience with MS Office.
6. Schedule: This position will work 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
