Job summary

Acima is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager with account management, sales, and customer service. You will drive lease applications, educate customers on Lease-To-Own terms, and convert web and in-store orders into Acima customers across partner stores.

The role emphasizes teamwork, performance reporting, and strong customer focus in a fast-paced retail environment with flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with leasing industry is a plus.
• Able to multi-task with good time-management and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer growth through channels (web, partner stores, walk-ins).
• Listen, identify, and fulfill customer needs promptly.
• Educate customers on Lease-To-Own terms, payments, and application process.
• Close sales by converting in-store and web applications.
• Collaborate with Acima partner stores on operations.
• Report to Store Manager on store and coworker performance.
• Establish partnerships with retail staff to generate referrals.
• Address and resolve customer issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
• Foster a positive work environment to reduce turnover.
