Job summary

Hamilton Point Property Management is seeking a Leasing Consultant to coordinate apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs and renewals, while engaging with prospective and current residents to maximize occupancy and retention. The role requires strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and on-site accounting software.

You will handle lease documents, maintain records, and provide clerical support, including reports and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Working knowledge of email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Entrata or other types of on-site accounting software.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical and accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate apartments rentals, move-ins, move-outs and lease renewals.
• Qualify prospective residents and lease apartments.
• Prepare lease documents and move-in paperwork.
• Maintain accurate records of traffic activity and enter data.
• Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants.
• Assist with planning resident activities to increase retention.
• Generate weekly leasing reports and ensure timely submission.
• Assist with clerical tasks and processing property invoices as needed.
