Job summary

Hamilton Point Property Management seeks a Leasing Consultant to coordinate apartment rentals, move-ins, and renewals. You will qualify prospects, process leases, and conduct tours, ensuring occupancy and resident satisfaction.

In addition to strong customer service, you’ll maintain records, follow up with prospects, and collaborate with maintenance for move-ins. Proficiency with Word/Excel and Entrata is expected, with a valid driver license.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Proficient with a personal computer and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Entrata or other on-site accounting software.
• Current driver license and automobile insurance; Real estate license if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate rentals, move-ins/move-outs, and lease renewals.
• Qualify prospective residents and lease apartments.
• Prepare lease documentation and move-in paperwork.
• Ensure model apartments are tour-ready and oriented to residents.
• Maintain accurate traffic/activity records in the system.
• Follow up with prospects via phone, mail, or email; convert calls to tours.
• Provide excellent customer service and help retain residents.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-ins and coordinate with maintenance.
• Generate weekly leasing reports and complete daily open/close procedures.
• Assist with resident relations and planning resident activities.
• Participate in training on fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention.
