Job summary

Foundation Communities in Arlington, TX is hiring a Property/Leasing Assistant to support the Property Manager and stand in during their absence. You will maintain resident records, post rents and deposits, issue notices, and help with leasing functions.

You will also conduct renewals, recertifications, background checks, and reports, while coordinating with Resident Services to promote housing stability. On-site work required.

Qualifications

• Sound judgment to resolve problems and make routine recommendations.
• Little to no instruction on routine work, and general guidance on new assignments.
• Onsite software experience is preferred.
• Fair Housing training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate and organized resident records.
• Posts rents, deposits, fees, and daily bank deposits.
• Prepares renewal notices (90-60-30 days) and handles notices.
• Conducts recertifications and background checks.
• Issues notices for late payments or evictions and manages related tasks.
• Prepares reports and supports Property Manager in daily duties.
• Greets prospects, shows property and conducts leasing tasks as per policy.
• Handles calls from residents and vendors; routes service requests.
• Inspects move outs and vacant units as requested.
• Cooperates with Resident Services to support housing stability.
