Greystar is seeking a Leasing Specialist in Elk Grove, CA to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies. You will guide prospects through tours, process applications, and manage move-ins, ensuring resident satisfaction from start to finish.

Role includes on-site duties, collaboration with maintenance, and implementing local marketing plans to drive occupancy. Eligible for a housing discount and incentive-based bonuses; requires valid driver’s license for property operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing and resident screening is beneficial.
• Housing discount eligibility (20%) is included for this role.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate golf cart on site.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, credit checks, and lease signing.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and coordinate maintenance to ensure move-in readiness.
• Develop short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy and follow company policies on concessions.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic using various channels (Craigslist, Facebook, email, etc.).
• Track vacancy and leasing data using on-site software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.).
• Ensure show units meet quality standards and prepare leasing office for daily activities.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction and secure renewals when due.
• Support lease renewal communications and document handling for renewing residents.
• Respond promptly to resident/owner inquiries and document requests.
