Job summary

Centerpoint Apartments is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead operations and leasing at our apartment community. You’ll support the Property Manager in daily tasks, focusing on customer service, leasing support, and smooth administrative processes.

The role requires 1–2 years in property management with leasing experience preferred and strong communication and organizational skills. Onsite presence with opportunities to advance within the property team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of property management experience.
• Leasing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collection and posting of income within 24 hours of collection.
• Preparation and delivery of delinquency, eviction, and three-day notices to vacate.
• Interface with residents to schedule renewals or move-outs.
• Participate in the leasing activity.
• File all resident correspondence, back up the phones, and assist in general office management.
• Prepare security deposit refunds or charges.
• Post vending commissions, NSF checks, and other incomes/expenses.
• Keep lease files current and complete.
• Take over the Property Manager’s responsibilities when the Property Manager is unavailable.
