Job summary

The Michaels Organization is seeking a Leasing Specialist to support the leasing and marketing program for our properties. You will assist in branding, collateral creation, events, and move-in activities to drive occupancy and guest engagement.

With two or more years in Marketing/Leasing, you will coordinate campaigns, maintain quality materials, and help manage renewal efforts while delivering strong customer service and successful turnarounds.

Qualifications

• Two or more years’ experience with Marketing/Leasing and Customer Service
• High School Diploma required, any college level marketing course work preferred
• Needs to be heavy sales and marketing focused

Responsibilities

• Assist the Leasing Manager with national branding, programs and marketing goals outlined in the annual marketing plan.
• Develop and distribute leasing and marketing collateral, flyers, etc. Ensure accuracy on all printed material.
• Assist with planning, preparation, and implementation of marketing and leasing events and social media activities.
• Assist with execution of monthly marketing calendars and initiatives.
• Develop product knowledge, fair housing, and industry knowledge to meet leasing goals.
• Greet and answer questions from prospects and residents professionally.
• Develop print and internet marketing and advertising strategies.
• Daily follow-up on guest cards.
• Participate in outreach marketing activities and distribute materials.
• Facilitate move-in process including tours and lease signing.
• Assist with application verifications and lease paperwork.
• Assist Leasing Manager with renewal campaigns.
• Conduct marketing surveys and competitive analyses; complete marketing reports.
• Perform business transactions per Michaels policies; may include weekend work.
