Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Leasing Manager to oversee leasing and marketing at a property, working closely with the Community Manager to set goals and craft a strategic plan to achieve budgeted occupancy.

The Leasing Manager leads the leasing team, drives effective leasing, marketing, and resident relations, and reports on progress while coordinating annual marketing plans and campaigns. The role requires on-site work and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leasing Management: lead leasing and marketing at the property and set goals with the Community Manager.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Ensure staff leasing techniques are effective, with proper follow-up, lease signing, and accurate reporting.
• Audit lease files for policy/adherence and quality control.
• Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests to maintain satisfaction.
• Develop and implement resident retention programs and events.
