Job summary

Westminster is seeking a Leasing Manager to supervise leasing staff and drive the leasing/marketing programs for our properties. You will greet prospects, present features and benefits, and secure leases for qualified applicants while ensuring fair housing compliance.

The role requires managing staff, coordinating tours, and maintaining strong resident relations. A background in property management and a track record in sales and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of property management experience in sales, marketing, and customer service.
• Experience managing at least 2 staff members.
• Proficiency with Yardi and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Determining leasing staff monthly leasing goals.
• Scheduling leasing staff for 7-day work week.
• Reviewing prospect calls to ensure fair housing and company procedures are followed.
• Auditing lead tracking to determine consultants' closing ratios.
• Conducting weekly leasing staff meetings.
• Training and coaching leasing professionals.
• Inspecting tours and models to ensure cleanliness and readiness.
• Greet prospects and present apartments with emphasis on features and benefits.
• Handle incoming calls professionally and follow up with prospects.
• Develop Resident relations and ensure prompt maintenance responses.
• Improve sales techniques and close rates.
• Escort prospects to model apartments and discuss layouts and amenities.
• Document and update lead and availability in the system.
