Job summary

Asset Living in Los Angeles is seeking a Leasing Manager to oversee leasing and marketing at the property, collaborating with the Community Manager to set leasing goals and craft a strategic plan to hit budgeted occupancy.

You will lead the on-site leasing team, conduct resident tours, process applications, and ensure compliant, customer-focused leasing and marketing operations while maintaining market awareness and strong resident relations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leasing and marketing at the property as directed by the Community Manager.
• Set leasing goals and develop a strategic marketing plan to achieve budgeted occupancy.
• Lead the leasing team to close deals, conduct tours, and process leases accurately.
• Audit all lease files to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Develop and implement resident retention programs (events, promotions, newsletter, etc.).
• Monitor leasing/renewal progress and reporting; adjust strategies to improve occupancy.
• Supervise staff training, coaching, and adherence to company directives.
• Maintain property knowledge, competitor awareness, and market conditions; report weekly surveys.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all activities.
